In increasing the Mineral Ore
exports the major factor of deficiency is the port facilities
especially in the ports of West-Coast, where the operations
are not free from favorable weather required for bulk movement
of cargo and, slowing of port operations during the monsoon
period in the lower delta of the west coast.
In this direction, OMEGA HOUSING
LTD. has been successful in obtaining an exclusive Mandate
to develop the sector of Mining. The company will have a permanent
plot with mechanized loading facility at Mineral Ore Terminal
at Bissau port and farim port in Republic of Guinea Bissau.
This facility will be soon operational and will definitely
contribute to the fast progress of Mining sector in Guinea
Bissau.
OMEGA HOUSING LTD. had already
made arrangement for bulk shipments from the said Ports, despite
of various teething problems faced by the company at the initial
stages of development.
OMEGA HOUSING LTD. is also
in constant dialogue with various Ministries, Port authorities,
Railways, Local population, and with the staff of logistic
support to assess the development potential for a comprehensive
infrastructure requirements for larger volume of exports.
